Acupuncture can realistically provide a holistic healthcare option,
caring for your well being in every condition of your life. To give you an
impression of acupuncture’s wide scope, I personally work with supporting
those with long term problems such as arthritis or depression, I help
readdress the body’s balance with the menopause or headaches, I have come to
the aid of patients in acute situations such as glandular fever or muscular
skeletal pains and most importantly I find many of my patients have no
pathology, they are just a little out of sorts or in need of a gentle
supporting hand such as during pregnancy for instance. I have always being
amazed by acupunctures gently nurturing effects that cause regenerative and
healing responses within, without causing any significant quakes. A medical
practice that is soundly based upon thousands of years of Oriental
investigation. Today
acupuncture is used extensively in China alongside Western medicine in a
hospital-based system with facilities for treating acute and chronic
conditions. Within the UK acupuncture continues to grow in recognition. The
World Health Organisation has recognised acupuncture as an effective
treatment for wide range of conditions. The National Institute for Clinical
Excellence has recommended acupuncture treatment for lower back pain. The NHS
increasingly turns to acupuncture for pain management, with many doctors
& physios learning basic strategies. Marc Stenham lives in the beautiful Sussex countryside and works
